  • Eva Rodriguez Saenz

    Eva Rodriguez Saenz was born and raised in Chihuahua, Mexico. She moved to the United States with her family in the late 90’s. Since then she attended high school and university in Las Vegas. She graduated from UNLV with a B.A. in Political Science / Latin American Studies and a B.S. in International Business.

    While a student, she was a proud sister of Sigma Theta Psi Multicultural Sorority, where she worked to create UNLV’s first Multicultural Greek Council and was named Greek Woman of the Year.

    Off campus, she was involved in immigration issues in local and national activist campaigns. She interned in Washington D.C. with Senator Tom Harkin and the Hispanic Caucus, Congresswoman Dina Titus, and in Las Vegas with Caesars Entertainment’s Diversity Department. After college, she took fellowships at Georgetown University and Northwestern University.

    She is currently in commercial banking and finance and preparing to begin law school and continue graduate studies in Finance, while seeking Financial Securities Licenses certification in Series 6, 7 and 3 for career development. She enjoys traveling while maximizing every moment she has with her family and dear friends.

    Eva Rodriguez Saenz hails from the NEWL class of 2009 and has served on the Advisory Board, as a faculty in residence for 2012, and has contributed to the alumnae panel.
