Crystal Jackson is the graduate research assistant at the Jean Nidetch Women’s Center at UNLV. She oversees assessment and training of faculty and staff on the issues of sexual assault, domestic and dating violence, and stalking. She is a Ph.D. candidate in Sociology and holds a Master’s in Sociology with an emphasis in Women’s Studies.
Crystal is a published author, volunteer, and community activist. She has been involved with NEW Leadership on many fronts. She went through the program in 2003, served as a Faculty in Residence, provided workshops, and served as the Program Director for several years.
