It is our mission to research and educate in order to improve the lives of women in our state. Some of our outreach programs include our Gender Roundtable Discussions, visiting scholars, and continuing education classes to be offered Fall 2011. We offer research support for undergraduate and graduate students, as well as visiting and local scholars.

Our primary educational efforts focus on undergraduate learning. Through the class we offer, HIST 495: The History of Women’s Leadership, and our National Education for Women’s (NEW) Leadership program; we hope to inspire and inform new leaders about the women that came before them.
