  • UNLV Women’s History Walking Tour

From its beginnings in 1951 until today, countless women have contributed to UNLV’s history as students, staff, faculty, administrators, and benefactors.

This walking tour is designed to introduce you to some of the women who have impacted the university over its 50+ year history. It is a fun and informative way to experience the beauty of UNLV’s campus and to explore the ways that the university’s history is inscribed on the campus itself.

Some of the women you will be introduced to on the tour include Assemblywoman Flora Dungan, educator Maude Frazier, Regent Juanita Greer White, and former UNLV president Carol Harter.

Print out the map here to experience the self-guided tour.
