On April 9, the MGM Resorts Foundation presented Dr. Joanne Goodwin with a check for $5,000 to help support the NEW Leadership Nevada program at the company’s first Coffee Klatch to celebrate Women’s History Month.

Proceeds from the 2011 Woman of Color Conference made up the donation. The check was presented by Debra Nelson, the vice president of Corporate Diversity and Community Affairs and Jocelyn Bluitt-Fisher, director of Community Affairs, of MGM Resorts.

MGM Resorts has been a faithful supporter to the Women’s Research Institute of Nevada and to the NEW Leadership program. We are very thankful for this year’s donation.
